Finding Flow: The Mini‑Series

There’s a part of my story I didn’t talk about for a long time. I was running a growing online school, coaching authors, being “the rock” for everyone… until my body said enough and everything stopped. What followed was burnout, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and a long, quiet season where I had to let go of almost everything to get through the day.

Finding Flow is the story of what happened next – how I stepped away, watched my school learn to run without me, and slowly started building a different kind of business as a Business Flow Architect. Not a hustle machine, but a business with a gentle structure that supports real life, especially for moms and solo entrepreneurs who can’t afford to burn out again.

This five‑episode mini‑series walks you through that journey in order: the breaking, the in‑between, the grief of not being needed, the decision to build differently, and the real cost of protecting your energy and freedom. Start at the trailer if you want the big picture, or dive into the episode that feels most like where you are today.

Trailer – Finding Flow

There was a time when I was running a physical school that went fully online during the pandemic, coaching authors on the side, and trying to hold everything together… until I broke. In this short trailer, I share how burnout turned into CFS and Fibromyalgia, why my school now runs beautifully without me, and what I’m rebuilding instead as I help other women find their own flow before they hit the wall.

Episode 1 – When Everything Stopped

In this episode, I take you back to the moment my body and mind made the decision I kept avoiding: I couldn’t keep going. I share what burnout really looked like behind the scenes – the brain fog, the fear of becoming “just a blob,” stepping away from clients, and handing the day‑to‑day of my school to my team because I simply had no capacity left.

Episode 2 – The In‑Between

Stepping back created a kind of silence I wasn’t prepared for – months of rest, TV, and wondering if this blurry, low‑energy life was all I had left. In the in‑between, I got my diagnoses, watched my school continue without me, grieved who I used to be, and slowly rediscovered small sparks of myself again through hobbies, stillness, and the first whispers of “maybe I could build something different.”

Episode 3 – When Your Business Doesn’t Need You Anymore

This episode is about the strange mix of grief and freedom that comes when the thing you built finally runs without you. I talk about learning to trust my COO, letting go of team members who kept pulling me back in, realising my school could thrive without my constant presence, and redefining what it means to be an owner when you’re no longer the one holding everything together.

Episode 4 – Building Different

When my capacity started to return, I tried sliding back into familiar work – VA‑style tasks and admin – and it just didn’t fit anymore. Here I walk you through how the idea of becoming a Business Flow Architect emerged from supporting a friend: looking at her whole life, not just her to‑do list, and designing gentle structure so her business could flex when kids got sick, energy dipped, or life shifted.

Episode 5 – What Flow Actually Costs

Flow sounds soft, but it asks for real choices. In this final episode of the mini‑series, I talk honestly about what I’ve had to say no to – constant visibility, overcommitting, taking on more than my body can hold – in order to build a business that protects my health, my family, and the calm consistency I was craving. I’ll invite you to consider what you’re no longer willing to sacrifice, and what freedom could look like if you built your business around your actual capacity instead of constant pressure.

Who is Finding Flow for?

Finding Flow is for purpose‑driven entrepreneurs – especially moms and solo service providers – who feel stretched thin and want structure that feels like freedom, not another rigid system.

What will I get from listening?

You’ll hear an honest burnout and recovery story and take away gentle, practical insights about capacity, boundaries, and building a business that supports your life instead of consuming it.

Do I need to listen in order?

You can, but you don’t have to. The episodes follow my story chronologically, and each one also stands on its own, so you can jump into the moment that feels closest to where you are right now.
